Drones are rapidly expanding their way into the view of the citizens. Drones are said to be the future of technology and how they will be utilized to the advantage to make advancements in this world. Drones are drastically growing all over the world from the western countries to all over the United States.
Drones have been around since the mid-1800s and are also known as unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). Initially, drones were simply an air balloon used during military combat operations to attack the enemy. The plan was to fill up the giant “balloon” with explosives and send it in the direction of the enemy, the enemy will then see it and shoot it down. Once the balloon comes down as the enemy shot it down, the explosives would ignite on top of the enemy injuring hundreds of them. This strategy became on unreliable as the UAV would at times return the direction it came from due to change of winds. Throughout the decades, drastic modifications on drowns have been applied being a highly usable weapon during overseas operations to conduct surveillance or to simply take pictures of areas without having to deploy a pilot or a soldier. They have become such an advanced tool to Military forces that some drones now come with loaded weapons with the capability of being to aim and shoot the enemy thousands of feet in the air. With their development they have made an expansion into the influence of U.S. businesses and their possible usage.
In our current days, large corporations and agencies are trying to make drones an everyday use tool. Starting off with news companies, wanting to use drones with intentions replacing pilots for quicker and easy mobility acquiring great news for their viewers. Law enforcement agencies would like to use drones as a surveillance advantage, similar to how the military utilizes drones overseas. These agencies are going as far as wanting to employ weaponry on to these drones to be able to conduct attacks. We must keep in mind that drones are already being used along the lines of our borders to help with illegal crossings. Moving on to a better side of drone usage, topographic are using these powerful devices to study the structure of our lands and continue to discover new things. Sports agencies wanting to use drones to provide amazing real-time shooting for their sport fanatics. Real estate have been talking about investing on drones to be able to showcase homes with views like no other home has ever been presented.
As the e-commerce industry continues to evolve rapidly, it’s also rapidly changing the way they will be doing business with customers. Online retail stores such as Amazon have been pushing to make the next big change of delivery. Amazon would like to be able to deliver small item packages to their customers within hours instead of having to wait days or even weeks for delivery of an order. This has yet to be seen how Amazon will be working their way around this. This new way of delivery could also influence grocery stores and restaurants how delivery could be changing in the near future.
Seeing how large corporations and government agencies plan or are using drones, is it safe to safe to say that drones are the future of country’s surveillance system and delivery system? Only time will tell if drones will be the next big thing. This could be used as a warning and what business owners should be looking forward to if the industry decides to go that route.
